We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible, and in Jesus the Christ, His only Son, our Lord; true God from true God; Light from Light, begotten, not made; co-eternal with the Father. Through whom, the Father made all things and that without Him, nothing was made. Christ Jesus came down from heaven to redeem man to the Father and offer salvation to those who would respond to God’s call. By the Holy Spirit He was incarnate through a virgin woman named, Mary, and fully became a man. For our sake He suffered, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died and was buried. He then, descended into hell and took the keys of Death and Hades. On the third day, He rose from the dead in accordance with the holy scriptures. Forty days later, after revealing Himself to more than five-hundred witnesses, He ascended into heaven before the eyes of the apostles, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. From there, He will come again, in glory, to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. We believe in God, the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, and who has spoken through the prophets of old. We confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, the communion of saints, and look forward to the resurrection of the faithful, receiving eternal life in the world to come.                Amen
